Ms. Dankerlui received her Master of Public Health degree in Global Health, with a focus on Leadership, Policy and Management, from the University of Washington. She has been engaged in global health work for over 20 years, with a focus on advancing equity. Since her start at the Global Health Initiative (GHI) in 2013, she has collaborated with universities, hospitals, government institutions, and community organizations in Detroit as well as abroad on a variety of education, training and research programs. Her responsibilities include coordinating observations, rotations, workshops, conferences and other programs focused on capacity building of GHI's international partners. Ms. Dankerlui has served as faculty in various research workshops and holds a certification for Teaching English as a Second Language. Originally from the Caribbean, she has in-depth knowledge of local context and challenges of resource-limited settings. Ms. Dankerlui is lead for all GHI activities in Colombia.
