Dr. Anupama Devara earned her medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Sinai-Grace Hospital, Detroit, followed by a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Wayne State University. She is an Assistant Professor at Wayne State University's Department of Internal Medicine and served as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program from 2021 to 2023. Currently, she is the Course Director for Service-Learning for medical students. Dr. Devara mentors students and residents, with her mentees winning awards at conferences. She is Chair of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee at Detroit Medical Center and a member of the Lifelong Learning Development Committee at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
