Dr. Sales’ research focuses on quality of care, implementing evidence-based healthcare practice, healthcare workforce issues, healthcare organizations, and knowledge translation. Her expertise includes implementation of evidence-based practice in clinical settings, cardiovascular care, long-term care, organizational readiness to change assessment, mixed methods research, nurse staffing, and patient outcomes. She is also the director of the Health Infrastructures and Learning Systems M.S. and Ph.D. programs in the Department of Learning Health Sciences.
