Asset Based Community Development

Learning objectives

• Be able to define Asset Based Community Development and apply it to community-based participatory research (CBPR).
• Describe and apply the 3 tools of ABCD – Asset Mapping, Capacity Inventory, and Results-Based Accountability Framework.
• Demonstrate teamwork, peer-mentoring, and oral presentation skills in creating CBPR proposal-writing, using at least one ABCD tool.
